Joe's bio I was born in Whittier, CA in 1964, the 2nd son of Mel and Paulette Carll. Although I had regularly attended church as a child through young adulthood, I was not saved from my sins. My life prior to accepting Jesus as my savior was centered on my feelings. While I occasionally did nice “things” for others; more often I did whatever I felt like doing without concern about those around me, or even myself. My life was self centered and reckless.
After attending Grace Community Church for a few years, I finally accepted the unmerited gift of Jesus in February 2003 during a men’s retreat. My life radically changed at that moment. God, in the form of the Holy Spirit, now dwells in my heart. Instead of serving myself; I now love to serve God.
Brenda entered my life in 1987 and I am deeply in love with her. We married in 1991 and are blessed with two children, our son Kevin (age 16) and our daughter Morgan (age 13). We also consider it a blessing to have lived mostly in Ramona since 1991.
I graduated in 1986 from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration / Real Estate. Currently, I am a self employed real estate appraiser.
I was invited to join the staff of Grace as a pastoral intern in April 2008. As an intern, I will gain from the church’s resources to determine if vocational ministry is what God is calling me to do. Gaining ministry knowledge is important, but it is equally important that I serve the church body.
If I can be of any assistance to you, please don't hesisitate to call me in the church office (760-789-0562) or send me an
