Does God have enough bandwidth to be personally involved in the lives of six billion people all at the same time? Is He interested only in the “big” things in your life and would He prefer you not bother Him with the little things?
How does God relate to our everyday living?
As we continue to learn how to make disciples it is important that you help the person you are mentoring to understand that God cares about our everyday living. In our previous study I encouraged you to talk about assurance of salvation early in your discipleship in order to root the new believer in God’s unconditional love.

Paul continue to focus on the third part of our mission statement - make disciples. Today he shows us from Scripture that the process of discipleship is that of renewing the new believer’s mind to understand God’s truth and it is extremely important that you help the new believer to be confident and assured that they are saved, that they are completely forgiven and reconciled to God.
We call this assurance of salvation.

Paul continues to look into disciple making. Today, he looks in Matthew 9:35-38 to discover that Jesus opened the eyes of His disciples to the bone crushing needs of the people then called them to pray for more disciple makers. Compassion and prayer are at the heart of disciple making. Without this awareness we will have little compassion for others. And without compassion for others we will not make disciples.
